Gyro District VIII

Gyro District VIII is part of Gyro International and consists of 11 Clubs located in south eastern British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan in Canada; and, and northern Idaho in the United States of America. Total membership in these clubs stands at 365 as of May 27, 2016. In addition there are 2 individuals who are associate members of District VIII.

Every year Gyros and Gyrettes get together for a Convention with the other Gyro Clubs in the District.  This gathering, while mostly a time for fun, is also when the business of managing Gyro affairs for the year is done.  Other District and regular inter-club activities include an annual curling bonspiel (“Curlarama”) at Banff each November and golf during the summer.  These District activities are all opportunities to travel, make new friends, renew old friendships, and most importantly of all, have fun.

I have come across 6 GYRO lapel pins in my clean up recently, perhaps remnants of the New Westminster club of years ago. Can donate them to an active club, or send me some contact info and I will get them to a Vancouver club member.

Have 6 Gryo club lapel pins to the first club member who gives me an address so I can mail

  3. Dale Woodroffe says:

If no one wants them, I will take them, to reuse.

Thanks for thinking of giving the gyro pins.
