Gyro District VIII is part of Gyro International and consists of eleven (11) Clubs located in south eastern British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan, in Canada; and northern Idaho, in the USA. The total membership, in these clubs, is 323, as of April 30, 2018.
Every year the Gyros and Gyrettes, from all 11 Clubs get together at an Annual District Convention. This gathering, while mostly a time for fun, is also when the business of managing Gyro affairs is done. Other District and regular inter-club activities include an annual curling bonspiel (“Curl-a-rama”) at Banff, each November; and golf tournaments. . These District activities are all opportunities to travel, make new friends, renew old friendships, and most importantly of all, have fun.
